Flowers in Sweden Go Jämtland - Go Ragunda!
Jämtland lies in the middle of Sweden, where you will find majestic mountains, forests, great lakes, small ponds, babbling brooks and whirling rivers. Countless flowers in the wetlands and fields of rare orchids.
The four greatest predatory animals in Scandinavia you will find in Jämtland: the brown bear, the wolf, wolverine and lynx.
The moose and reindeer are common and often seen by the side of the road.
The Jämtland/Härjedalen area accounts for 12% of the total area of Sweden, but only 1.5% of the country's total population.
Ragunda municipality is Jämtland's smallest with about 5,800 inhabitants.
Hammarstrand is the municipality's administrative centre and Hammarstrands Camping lies in an idyllic spot rigth next to the Indalsälven (Indal River), from where I'll try to show you Jämtlands flowers.
